SOUL Performance Chevrolet C8 ZR1 / ZR1X SOUL Performance Rear Exhaust System

Description Our goal was to craft a non-valved large diameter exhaust system with maximum flow to offer the greatest increase exotic flat-plane crank V8 sound. The SOUL Performance Exhaust System starts at 3″ in diameter to mate with the factory style downpipes and quickly expands to 3.5″ in diameter out through the primary tip outlets while the secondary tip outlets are 3″ for unrestricted maximum flow. For those interested in a full 3.5″ system from turbos back we offer both catted and catless competition systems. The increase in efficiency results in better response under all conditions. Weight savings of 40 lbs (roughly 1% of the total vehicle weight!) also offers a valuable benefit for overall vehicle handling and braking in a car capable of tremendous speed and acceleration. DYNO PROVEN POWER On our development ZR1 with SOUL Competition Downpipes alone, we saw max power gains cresting 1,025 whp and 824 ft-lbs of torque. Adding our Performance Rear Exhaust System (in full 3.5″ design without the factory neckdown to downpipes) brought max power to 1,033 whp and 839 ft-lbs of torque. While most of the power gains on the ZR1 can be found by upgrading the downpipes, it’s clear that increasing the flow of the rear exhaust system will also add power and response coming in around 4,000 RPMs and holding to redline. After passing QC, each component is foam-packed to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Stainless steel brackets and wiring harness extensions are included to mount the factory electronic exhaust valves to the transmission to prevent a check engine light. New gaskets and hardware are included for a seamless installation.
